Linguistics and Politics in Gibraltar

“People of the Rock: The Llanitos of Gibraltar” is a documentary film I am producing and directing. The film shows Gibraltar’s international human rights struggles through the perspective of linguistics, politics and culture.

American History

This is segment I worked on heavily while working as an editor and director of photography at BYU Independent Study. I was the main camera operator and assistant DP on this project. We shot mostly on a Panasonic HVX-200. I pieced together the score using licenses from omnimusic.com. I also performed sound cleaning, video editing, color correction, visual effects (3D stills, etc…), and worked heavily on set and wardrobe development. The only visual effects seen here that I didn’t do are the flying yearly dates, designed by Jared Moench.
