The LXD Season 3 Finale: “Rise of The Drifts”
(Editor, Storyboards)
Commercial Spots for BYU TV International
While working as an offline broadcast editor for BYU Television International, I was involved with editing hundreds of hours of televised content. I was also able to edit promos and commercial spots for the station, which show in millions of homes throughout North America, South America, and Europe.
During 2007, I also worked as Producer of the International segment of televising BYU sports. Managing live commentary talent for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking audiences was a challenge, but production is always a worthwhile challenge.

Opening titles, lower-third graphics and editing by Garrett Gibbons. A brief segment from the 60-minute program is shown here.
Microphone 60 second Ads
I co-produced these with Joshua Molina and Yenny Medina. BYU Television International is simultaneously broadcast in English, Spanish and Portuguese throughout North America, South America and Europe. Normally, three parallel audio channels are prepared for each program or interstitial, but Saul Leal, the Executive Producer and head of BYU TV International, thought it would be interesting to have the languages rotate freely for these short interstitial spots, showing the diversity in audience.
Camera, editing and sound by Garrett Gibbons. This was a relatively early project for me, and I have learned a lot since then, but it’s still worth a quick watch.

Vocal Concert for BYU Television International
This was one of my first editing projects at BYU Broadcasting. Steven Lowe and Bart Chidester both edited, and I was assisted with editing and created lower-third titles.
